If a student takes a quiz or test and is not satisfied with their grade, they may do a re-take. Re-takes will usually happen within a week of the originally assessment. They may come in during their connections time to re-take the assessment. The assessment will be a similar format of the original one, but the questions may be slightly different. They must get the below parent form signed and turned in, in order to take the assessment. They will receive full credit for their re-take. If the student receives a lower grade on the re-take than the original, they will keep the original grade. The student is responsible to come in on their own to re-take the assessment. Again, they have up to a week from receiving the original assessment to re-take it.
Students will also be allowed to re-do any assignment for full credit. They do not have to turn in the parent form, but they will have a 3 day time limit to get the assignment back to me. I am always available during their Connections period, or we can schedule a tutoring time after school, where I can work with them on the assignment.
